Top Ten Tuesday (3)

**Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. Each week we are given a new topic to make a top ten list. :)

This week's topic is:

Top Ten Goals/Resolutions For 2014 (bookish, not bookish or a blend)

BLENDED LIST:

1. Write reviews IMMEDIATELY when I am done with a book.

2. Schedule posts in ADVANCE! This way if "real life" gets me away from the computer for a bit hopefully I have some stuff already up.

3. LESS time on Twitter O.O This one will be HARD!!

4. Get more organized, in blogging and in real life.

5. Exercise and eat right....I mean isn't this a universal one?!

6. Go to more book signings

7. Try out new genres

8. Be more money savy $$$$$

9. Get on a regular sleeping schedule....seriously I don't sleep a lot and I have three kids and it's BRUTAL!

10. Spend more time with the hubs away from electronics ♥

What are some of your goals??

Top Ten Books On My Fall 2013 TBR List

#1 The Prophecy by Erin Albert is coming out in November. I'm so ready for this book, you have NO idea. The cover is not released yet sadly, but I can only imagine how amazing it's going to be.

#2

The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead in the Bloodline series. Y'all know how I feel about Adrian, so of course I'm excited for more of him.

#3

Allegiant by Veronica Roth, I haven't read any of the Divergent series yet because when I first started hearing all the great things about it I had a mile long TBR and decided I would wait for the final installment before diving in. I've got my hardcover box set on pre-order so I'm READY.

#4

Unbreathable by Hafsah Laziaf, I can't wait to get my hands on this book. The synopsis is so unique and intriguing, and of course because the cover is so gorgeous and my shelf just wants it there.

#5

The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black, I am dying to read this book and put it on my shelf with all it's awesomeness.

#6 Seven Day Fiance by Rachel Harris is book #2 in the Love and Games series. I loved Taste the Heat so I can not wait to get my hands on this one. There is no cover out yet, so no pretty picture. :(

#7

Perfect Ruin by Lauren DeStefano. I mean who doesn't just NEED this book really?? The cover is to die for, and the synopsis already has me hooked. Come on October :)

#8

Where the Stars Still Shine by Trish Doller. The cover....let me wipe my drool. It just is magical to me. I want to put it in a pretty frame where no one can ever touch it...seriously. The story sounds like something that will touch on such an emotional level also, I can't wait to get my hands on it.

#9

Eat, Brains, Love by Jeff Hart. When I first saw this book floating around on Twitter I knew I had to read it because of 2 factors alone: 1. Zombies, 2. Gummy worms on the cover. I rest my case.

#10

Ketchup Clouds by Annabel Pitcher. I've heard so many great things about this book, and was lucky enough to get a copy via Edelweiss. I really hope I love it just so I can justify going and buying the book for the amazing cover and antispine art. :)

Leave your links for TTT. Let me know what your #1 Fall read is.

Top Ten Books I Would Love To See As A Movie/TV Show

#1

My all time top books to movie that I've wanted since 2009 is Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead, it is now happening as you most know, I couldn't be more ecstatic about it. Here's to hoping they are PERFECT ;)

#2

Naturally with VA being my #1 I want to see Bloodlines series made into movies also. I'm a huge Adrian fan, so I of course want to see more of him. ;)

#3

I want to see My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century series by Rachel Harris made into a movie. The books were crazy good and I would love to actually see it on screen.

#4

Lets follow with the theme of Rachel Harris for a minute here.....I think her other book Taste the Heat would be AMAZING to watch, the book itself had my emotions going crazy so I could only imagine what a perfect movie of it would do.

#5

The Kate Daniel's series would make a GREAT movie. It is so action packed and full of such unique ideas I think it would be amazing to see it come to life. PLUS I want to see Curran ;)

#6

I'm still waiting for the Uglies series to be made into a movie. The books were good, but I feel like movies would be even better.

#7

I still have hope that we will see the Delirium series made into a tv show or a movie. I think I would prefer a movie just because when there was talk of a show they were going to mess with a lot of the story line.

#8

Richelle Mead's the Dark Swan series I think would be an awesome tv show. There is still so much story line that could go different ways I think without having to compromise the main one.

#9

The Infernal Devices would be amazing to see as a movie. I love the era its based in and want so bad to see Will come to life!

#10

Lastly, I've always thought that The Book of Tomorrow would make a good movie. It had a really good story line, but one that I wanted to see taken farther. One of those rare books that I think a movie would actually be better.

Leave your links for your Top Ten Tuesday :)

Do you think these would make good shows/movies? What's your #1 book you want to see made into a show/movie?
