I'm super excited to be able to help reveal the cover of Sophie Jordan's upcoming book, UNLEASHED, which is the sequel to UNINVITED. I seriously can not wait for this book since I completely love UNINVITED! If you are new to these titles you can check out my review for UNINVITED here.

What I'm thinking:

Who is this Caden character?! What does this new character mean for Davy's life and the people in it???  It sounds like Davy is going to have a lot of self doubt in this book. Which sounds to me it is going to cause me some emotional turmoil over here!

My Thoughts:

I'm not usually a huge fan of models on covers but I really love this one, I also loved the cover of UNINVITED too! Davy looks fierce and the DNA strands in her hair again are just AWESOME! It also has a very dark feel to it since there is no background, just deep blackness and it looks like hints of purple in there. The little teaser on there also! I can't wait to see how Davy takes on this next part of her life! EEP! So excited! I think it's time for an UNINVITED re-read!

OMG, I’ve been flailing about the awesomeness of this cover since April. I saw it and was basically like HOLY COVER LOTTERY!! :D

I’ve talked about how LIARS, INC. is very different from THE ART OF LAINEY, and this cover really highlights that. LIARS has first-person narration, a bit of romance, and similar fast-paced dialogue to LAINEY, but that’s where the major similarities end. This book is a dark mystery for fans of I HUNT KILLERS, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS (the TV show, because I’ve never read the books), or old-school Christopher Pike novels. I hope you love it, because if it does well I might get to write a companion novel, and I’m seriously not ready to let go of these characters. Max is a little aloof and slackerish so it might take you time to warm up to him, but his girlfriend Parvati is totally badass and fun, and both of them really grow and change over the course of the novel. (You know how I love me some character development!) And no worries, this is a total standalone book, plotted and written as a solo novel.

Kat gathered her books and stuffed them into her plaid Burberry messenger bag, then headed toward the front doors, smoothie from the library snack shop in hand. Head bent, fiddling with the clasp of her bag, she stumbled into a wall of human on the pavement outside.

“Oh, I’m sorry—” Her voice dropped out when she realized the solid flesh belonged to Alec, Max’s best friend.

She’d only met him once or twice before he’d moved in with Max this semester and every time, he cocked his eyebrow with a half frown like he knew something she didn’t. Right now, that raised-eyebrow frown pinned her where she stood. His pale green eyes behind thick black frames roamed over her shoulder to the library and then back to her. His face blanked and he looked at her like he’d never seen her before. Kat debated whether or not that was an improvement over his other look.

But then those intelligent eyes narrowed and a smirk curled his lips. “I know. We nerds get an e-mail every morning.”

See? He always needed the last word. She propped a hand on her hip and leaned in. “Well, sounds like you have a mole. Might want to look into that.”

He opened his mouth but she cut him off. “Just looking out for you guys. Anyway, see ya around!”

Before he could shoot back a snarky comeback, Kat skirted around him and bounded down the stairs. She chalked that up as Kat 1, Alec 0.

I don't know if it's mainly just the southern girl in me BUT OMG I adore this! The plaid shirt, the ADORABLE flower print skirt (so classy by the way), and the HAYBALES!!!! I just can't even describe how much I want to pet it and hold it and all the insane bookish things O.O

I think this cover is just the cutest thing. I'm already intrigued by this book just reading the description and this beautiful cover of perfection just tops it off. It looks fun, flirty, and playful. I can't wait to get my hands on it :-)

Megan is done with what she's calling a first draft and what I like to refer to as "the mother of all perfection and the book that provokes my feels". I loved STEEL LILY but IRON PENDULUM is on a whole other level. The characters have really come out of their shell and they are going to make you fall in love with them ten times more. SO GET EXCITED, and if you haven't read STEEL LILY I suggest you go and buy it right now and get to reading. You won't regret it and you do NOT want to miss out on IRON PENDULUM ♥
